Students are invited to a workshop on final exams preparation: “Crafting the Perfect Exam Cheat Sheet: Strategies for Effective and Honest Success.”
Creating cheat sheets in strategic and effective ways can boost exam performance. Creating cheat sheets the night before an exam or haphazardly can undermine exam performance.
In this workshop, we’ll help you think through crafting the perfect cheat sheet, so you capture what’s most important for showing what you know on the exam. Thinking about a cheat sheet as a study tool will not only help you prepare for the exam; it’ll also help you avoid inappropriate collaboration, plagiarism, and other honor code violations.
This workshop is designed to help students:
- Maximize their study efforts by learning how to create effective and ethical exam aids
- Discover techniques for organizing and summarizing key information
- Gain insights into maintaining academic integrity while preparing for exams
- Engage with peers and gain valuable tips to enhance your success in a supportive and honest environment
Facilitators: Meaghan Fallano and Margaret Rennix, Academic Resource Center (ARC)
