Our goal is to support all students while maintaining fair policies that help everyone succeed.
The Office of Academic Integrity and Student Conduct (OAISC) helps students engage with and embody the values of the Harvard College community. We collaborate with students, faculty, and staff to make sure these values are reflected within our policies and procedures, and we work together to uphold community standards. As part of this, OAISC also maintains the Harvard College Student Handbook and Honor Code.

Staff
Academic Integrity and Student Conduct Support
OAISC oversees both the Administrative Board and Honor Council. These groups work to ensure academic integrity and handle any issues related to Harvard’s community guidelines.
Administrative Board
Also known as Ad Board, the Administrative Board ensures student compliance with the College’s academic and social policies. They review unsatisfactory undergraduate academic performance and respond to student petitions, which are requests for exceptions to the academic rules described in the Harvard College Student Handbook. Additionally, the Administrative Board hears all formal cases of social misconduct.
Honor Council
The Harvard College Honor Council brings together undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff to review possible violations of the Honor Code and academic integrity policies. The Honor Council aims to uphold honest scholarship across our community. Harvard community members can apply to join the Honor Council every February.
FAS Student Services
OAISC is part of the FAS Office of Student Services which aligns the mission, function, and leadership of four interdependent units including OAISC, FAS Disability Access Office, FAS Registrar’s Office, and College Housing Office. Student Services works to streamline the student experience for Harvard College, Harvard Griffin GSAS, and SEAS. We aim to support an equitable academic and residential experience and help students quickly and efficiently get the administrative support they need. You can find all of our offices in a single location – we are located on the fourth-floor suite of the Smith Campus Center at 1350 Massachusetts Avenue.
